A colorful addition to the Utah Field House lawn is aimed at welcoming tourists and sprucing up the new Vernal Information Center sign destined for the same spot. According to Field House Park Manager Steve Sroka, the word is still getting out that free information on the Vernal area is available at the museum. The international flags along with a large sign is hoped to attract visitors or people passing through and provide them with flyers and information to convince them to extend their stay and play in the Uintah Basin. Sroka is hoping to have the sign and flags up before Labor Day.
