Homicide Investigation on Uintah-Ouray Indian Reservation

A homicide investigation is ongoing after the death of a man over the weekend on the Uintah-Ouray Indian Reservation. FBI spokeswoman Sandra Barker confirms that a 28-year-old man was killed during the early morning hours on Saturday, August 13th, in the town of Gusher. One man has been taken into custody on “tribal charges” in the connection with the case. No names have been released in the incident and the FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs is continuing their investigation.
