Funding from the Utah legislature is up from last year to support Children’s Justice Centers. The Uintah County Commission received and approved the updated amount from the legislature to amend the long term contract during Commission meeting on Monday. The contract lasts for 5 years and so it is amended annually to reflect whatever amount the legislature approved for the year. This year’s amount received by the Children’s Justice Center in Uintah County is $118,851 dollars.
