Fugitive Wanted in Strangulation Case Arrested

The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a fugitive wanted in a strangulation case has been arrested. 33-year-old Jesse Lee Reay was arrested on Wednesday in Rock Springs after having been on the run from authorities since December 26th. Reay was wanted for “allegedly strangling and beating his girlfriend and her dog in a meth-fueled rage over the holidays.” If convicted, Reay could spend up to 7 years in prison, pay fines of more than $10,000 dollars, or both.
