FBI of Utah Urges Utah Residents to Utilize Child ID App

The FBI of Utah is urging all Utah residents to utilize the FBI’s Child ID App with kids back in school and away from caregivers for much of the day. “An unfortunate reality is that every year, thousands of children go missing. In cases where an abduction is suspected, the FBI works with our local partners in the investigation and speedy recovery of the missing child.” To help in those recoveries, the FBI developed the Child ID app which provides an effective way for caregivers to keep their child’s pictures and physical descriptors on hand in case of an emergency. The Child ID app is free and can be downloaded onto almost any device.
