It’s time again for the Uintah Basin Energy Summit and this year’s 2day event is more than just updates from the local energy industry. The event, scheduled August 31st to September 1st, is hosting a community activity on its first night. Country rock band Little Texas will be performing at the Western Park Ampitheater at a reduced ticket price for the public as a show of thanks for the community’s support of the energy industry. While the concert will entertain, the lineup of speakers at the Energy Summit itself is impressive. Governor Gary Herbert and Congressman Rob Bishop will both be speaking as well as 20 other energy industry leaders offering the latest information on local energy development and outlook.
