The Division of Wildlife Resources is seeking information on a Uintah County poaching case. On Wednesday, August 22nd, a dead doe was discovered in the area of East McKee Road off Highway 191, shares the DWR. “It’s likely the animal was killed earlier that day and died from an arrow wound to the neck.” The location of the illegally killed deer was near Reader Creek, just east of Highway 191 mile marker 378. Anyone with information about this poaching case, or any others, is encouraged to call the Utah Turn-In-A-Poacher Hotline at 1-800-662-3337. Rewards are available and confidentiality is respected.
