DWR Reports Hunting Permits Almost Gone

If you were hoping to participate in the bull elk rifle hunt opening next month, there is no time to delay. The Division of Wildlife Resources announced Tuesday that bull elk hunting permits are nearly gone. “There’s a good chance the permits will sell out before the rifle hunt starts,” shares licensing coordinator Judi Tutorow. “If you want to hunt elk in Utah this fall, I’d encourage you to get a permit now. Utah has lots of bull elk. We don’t want you to miss out on a great experience this fall.” Permits can be purchased at www.wildlife.utah.gov. The bull elk rifle hunt starts October 8th.
