The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information from the public on theft that has occurred in the Clay Basin area at an oilfield location. The Sheriff’s Office first responded to the call of theft on November 2nd after a site by 11000 West was reported as broken into with items missing and damaged. The computing system was missing from a green shed along with other items and materials. “The computing system is an extremely expensive item and whoever took the device must have had knowledge of how to take it out,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “The wires transferring information had been cut, however, the lines producing power to the device had been removed properly.” Anyone with information is urged to contact the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office at 738-2015 or on the anonymous tip line at 738-0196.
