Tragically, this is the real life story of a local family, the Gambles. 2-year-old Boon, who was diagnosed in 2018, has had his final scans, thankfully confirming that his cancer is gone. Ironically, that great news came just one day after 5-year-old Turner had surgery to remove his tumor before beginning aggressive chemo and radiation treatments. The Vernal Theatre: LIVE community has come together for a night to show their love and support for the Gambles, raising money to help with their family’s financial strain.
