Deadline Approaching for NRCS Applications for Dollar Ridge Fire Victims

As the families affected by the Dollar Ridge Fire work to rebuild their lives, every opportunity for help may be useful. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is sharing the word on one such opportunity. The Utah Environmental Quality Incentives Program through the Natural Resources Conservation Service, may have funds to help private property owners as they deal with damage to their land. The deadline to apply is
Friday, August 17th.
This program will not apply to all property owners and is meant to provide financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers. Those interested in learning more can work with the NRCS office in Roosevelt at
