Deadline Approaches to Donate Homemade Cards for ‘Cards 4 Kids @ Heart’

The deadline is looming but it’s not too late to spread some Valentine’s Day love to local seniors. The ‘Cards 4 Kids @ Heart’ project is organized each year by KLCY’s morning show host Amy Richards in loving memory of her Grandma. “The last thing I received from [my Grandma] was a handwritten card,” shares Amy. “I never had a chance to send her one back before she passed, and I know in my heart she would have loved one from me.” With that fire in her heart and full of love for the seniors in her life, Amy has created an annual Valentine’s tradition to coordinate the cause of making homemade cards to be delivered to the seniors in the Uintah Basin. The deadline to drop off the homemade cards is
Monday, February 11th
by noon and more are needed. Drop off locations this year include Downtown Auto Group in Vernal and the KLCY/FOX studio on North Vernal Avenue.
