Daggett County Commission Update

It’s been a busy fall in Daggett County. The Commission announced that good headway is being made with the development of the County Resource Management Plan and that the Planning and Zoning Commission has been working with the members of the Public Lands Committee. Daggett County’s plan ‘Regarding the Wilderness and Related Special Designations’ will be before the County during the December 6th regular meeting. The Commission also notes that the County is nearing completion of the agreement with Dutch John which has been in the works for years. The Commission also explained that they are still in the application process for funds to assist Moffat County in repair of the Swinging Bridge that provides a value to Daggett County as transportation infrastructure in the east end of the County.
