While the total acreage burned by the Dollar Ridge Fire has grown, so has the percent of containment. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, as of
Wednesday night at 8:46pm
, the size of the Dollar Ridge Fire had reached 56,687 acres and the percent of perimeter contained was increased to 60 percent. There are 857 fire personnel working on the fire that is being fueled by timber, tall grass, and brush at critical conditions with extremely low live and dead fuel moisture.
