Computer Recycling Event for One Week Only

Certified destruction of data on computers and devices is not easy to come by but a window of opportunity begins this Tuesday. A free electronics recycling event hosted by the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce and TriCounty Health Department will run from November 15th through the 22nd. All items recycled will include certified destruction of all data, explains Chamber Director Joel Brown. Accepted items include batteries, computers, laptops, network devices, office machines, printers, and telephones among many other devices, however, Cathode Ray Tube televisions and computer monitors will NOT be accepted due to additional costs. “They will be kept at our location under lock and key during the drop off week,” says Chamber Director Joel Brown. Items can be dropped off during business hours at either the Chamber or TriCounty Health in Vernal.
