Community Outreach, Forum and Dinner

It’s time again for another Uinta Basin Community Outreach Forum and Dinner. Energy industry topics are explored at this event twice a year with extra buzz surrounding this meeting as locals are hoping to hear promises of eventual economic recovery. This month, oil finally topped $55 dollars a barrel for the first time in 16 months after an OPEC deal fueled buying. The upcoming forum and dinner is considered a great opportunity to hear from industry experts on future outlook and continuing challenges in the energy industry. The main presenter at the meeting will be Marc Eckels, a consulting geologist who will be presenting on the Utah oil and gas exploration and production history. All community members are invited to the dinner and forum on January 10th at 6pm at Roosevelt’s Crossroads Community Center. RSVP at
