The ‘Let’s Talk: Uintah Basin Cancer Support Group’ welcomes all affected by cancer with open arms. From now on, however, they will be welcoming all from a new location when meeting in Roosevelt. According to support group representative Cecilia Sullivan, the group will no longer meet at the Villa but instead in the Uintah Basin Healthcare Board Room in the hospital itself. Parking is available from the entrance at Clinic 2 where participants can go through the Clinic 2 entrance and head up to Level 3 where the boardroom is located. “The speaker for this June meeting is Karen Ames, Foot Zone Practitioner and Instructor,” shares Sullivan. “She will explain and demonstrate the benefits of foot zoning on cancer patients.” The group will meet Thursday, June 14th, at 6pm at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
