Caucus Night March 20th

by | Mar 20, 2018 | News | 0 comments

It is caucus night in Utah and the state has made it easier than ever to learn where your party and precinct will be meeting locally. Every community member can visit

to find locations or to find out if you are registered with a party or not. Not all parties will hold caucus meetings in the Uintah Basin but information on your closest contact and meeting will be provided. While Utah law now allows potential candidates to gather signatures in order to be included in the primary election, the caucus/convention route remains in tact and is advocated for by many locals. Pam Clinch, Uintah County Republican Party Vice Chair, says it is important to preserve the delegates and caucus system in Utah. “Now more than ever it is important that people support this system,” shares Clinch. “We have always been considered one of the most Republican areas in the nation and representatives care about our people and opinions because we have an active participating voter electorate.” Information about caucus night in Utah for all parties is available at
