Can Do Crew Contracts Renewed

Renewal of contracts for the Uintah School District's 'Can-Do-Crew' were before the Uintah County Commission on Monday. Uintah School District's CEPP program, also known as the Can-Do-Crew, is considered each year for the renewal of their contract that include janitorial services at the Uintah County Library and the Uintah Heritage Museum as well as running the County's recycling program. The Commission happily renewed the crew's contracts, acknowledging the students hard work and the important job they do. Uintah School District's Community Employment Placement Program or Can-Do-Crew provides services to Special Education students in high school and beyond, teaching job skills and fulfilling important work contracts with local businesses.

Kristin never planned to work in news radio but has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the news team at KVEL. Her love of literature and writing developed in high school which led her to study English Literature and Technical Writing at BYU. She received her BA in English from BYU in 2005 and studied at UVU in Orem for 2 semesters to become a Certified Technical Writer in 2006.
