Billsie Enters Not Guilty Plea to Child Abuse Charge

The mother of the 9-year-old girl raped by multiple men last spring pleaded Not Guilty to child abuse in 8th District Court on Wednesday. According to court documents, the 3rd degree Felony Child Abuse charge was filed against 32-year-old Natasha Alissa Billsie on August 23rd for the horrendous event that took place on March 26th. According to court documents, the young girl was sleeping on the couch of a Uintah County residence while her mother, Natasha Billsie, went into the garage of the home and was smoking methamphetamine. During that time, the child was taken into another room in the home where she told investigators she was raped by multiple men. Court records show that just two months before the night her daughter was raped, Billsie was arrested after reports were called in of an intoxicated woman damaging property with an ax through a Vernal subdivision. Billsie was seen smashing property including the back of a vehicle window. Billsie pleaded No Contest to multiple charges filed against her for the ax rampage while intoxicated. Billsie remains in custody at the Uintah County Jail.
