Become Familiar with How to Hunt Waterfowl

Have you ever had the desire to learn how to hunt waterfowl? The Division of Wildlife Resources is hosting a free waterfowl-hunting clinic
on Saturday, November 17th
, at the Vernal Game Farm. The clinic will run
from 10am to 1pm
and is open to all ages. Some of the things individuals will learn include properly identifying waterfowl species, the set up and use of a variety of blinds, how to call ducks and geese, how to handle a hunting dog, ways to arrange a spread of decoys and shooting a shotgun. There will be experienced hunters and DWR biologists that can answer questions about prime locations in the Basin as well as certified and trained mentors to elaborate how to shoot a shotgun from a special “waterfowl blind.” If interested people can register online.
