Ashley Regional Medical Center Expansion Moving Forward

Ashley Regional Medical Center announced Monday that movement is underway on their expansion project. “We are very excited to announce the addition of Big D [Construction] as our general contractor,” says CEO Benjamin Cluff. “We have worked with them previously in 2003 [and] 2004 on an expansion project and feel great about their being on board again with our current project.” Big D Construction is a general contracting firm out of Salt Lake City and Ogden. The expansion project, expected to take about 18 months to 2 years to complete, will upgrade Ashley Regional with new state-of-the-art technology and design. Phase one will include a new Women’s Center on the southeast corner of the hospital property. A groundbreaking ceremony for the Women’s Center is scheduled for October 12th.
