The deadline to apply for a limited-entry turkey hunting permit is coming up next week. “I think we’ll have a good turkey hunt in Utah next spring,” shares DWR Upland Game Coordinator Jason Robinson. “The state’s turkey populations are doing really well.” There are 461 permits available in northeastern Utah and 4,517 total permits available statewide. The limited-entry hunt will be held in April before the general statewide turkey hunt scheduled for May. Limited-entry permit applications are due by 11:00pm on December 27th. Apply online at
