A New Idea for the Uintah County Library

by | Feb 12, 2019 | News | 0 comments

The Uintah County Library is always looking for new ways to better serve the community with programs and services. That is why they have things like the Mango Languages program, access to Greater Learning Courses and even a 3-D printer. In the library’s search to improve they have come across a unique idea, in which they would like public feedback. At Tarleton State University in Texas, the university unveiled a new item to their library. A vending machine that dispenses laptops. It acts likes a laptop redbox, allowing people to access laptop computers while at the library. Having this unit in a library would allow librarians to work on other projects rather then checking in and out people to the computers. Go to the Uintah County Library Facebook page to access a video on the laptop dispenser and let the library know what you think.
