24th of July Happenings

What would the Pioneer Day holiday be in the Uintah Basin without starting it with a breakfast served up by upstanding young men in blue and gold? The annual Scout Breakfast in Roosevelt will be held at Constitution park on Saturday from 8 to 10am. The Vernal area Scout Breakfast will be held at the Colton Pavilion on Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30am. The Scout Breakfast has been a long standing tradition in the Basin for over 45 years. The proceeds from the breakfast stay in the Basin to help fund programs and training for local scouts and their leaders. The Pioneer Day parade in Vernal will follow the breakfast, starting at 10:00am down Vernal’s Main Street.
