Plea Deal for Arizona Man Arrested on Federal Charge

A 20-year-old Arizona man charged with felony rape in 8th District Court has accepted a plea deal with lesser charges. Court documents show that Lane Eagle Lee was charged with 1 count of Rape of a Child, stating that on or between March 16th, 2013 and April 30th, 2013, in Uintah County, Lee engaged in intercourse with a child under the age of 14. Lee was booked into Uintah County Jail on the warrant on February 16th. On July 6th, Lee plead guilty to one charge of attempted unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a class A misdemeanor. His sentencing included a $500 dollar fine, one year in jail and 18-months supervised probation. Lee was given credit for time already served. Additionally, Lee is ordered to finish his high school diploma or GED and have no contact with children under the age of 18, except with his minor child and the child’s mother.
