Duchesne County K-9 Recruit

The latest recruit to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is known by only one letter. A 14-month-old German Shepherd named “Q” has joined current canine “Kimber” at the Duchesne County K-9 operations. Cpl. Morant Harrison has been assigned as Q’s canine handler and the pair are quickly becoming a great team. Q has recently returned from training, shares the Sheriff’s Office, which means she is patrol certified in narcotic detection and is now working to obtain certification in tracking. Q’s fellow canine officer Kimber is dual purpose patrol certified with narcotics in addition to having the tracking certification. Thank you to the canine duo and their handlers for helping keep us all safe!
