Roosevelt City has shared the tentative schedule for road work plans that start on Monday, May 16th. Monday and Tuesday crews will tie in on Lagoon Street and start laying pipe on 400 East. On Wednesday and Thursday, crews plan to lay pipe on 100 South. On May 23rd and 24th, plans are to lay pipe on 200 East. On May 25th, 26th, and 30th, plans are to lay pipe on 100 West. And finally, crews will lay pipe on 100 North from May 31st to June 2nd. They then plan to finish any piping and test the lines from June 6th through the 9th. “We know that nobody loves road work, but we want to improve our infrastructure, so it must be done!” shares the Roosevelt City announcement. “Please keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change…City engineers will also be hanging door tags in affected neighborhoods 24 hours before work begins.” Roosevelt City plans to provide updates through their Facebook page and the City’s website.
